Hearts Are Beating Faster – Excitement Builds

The Race Is Almost Here

Excitement is building.  In fact, the heartTMS10Poster-1 of each person involved in Team Seattle’s effort at this year’s Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona is beating just a little bit faster these days.  Here’s why:

  • Our car and drivers are solid and the Team Seattle / Dempsey Racing crew is ready to race.  We were the fastest in practice.   Qualifying is going to be thrilling.
  • More than 100 pictures and names of people who donated to “Faces & Names” will be on the race car at Daytona.
  • More contests are coming for fans and supporters.  We have already giving away an autographed Pit Pass from Le Mans and an autographed picture of Patrick Dempsey from Le Mans.

Hearts Will Beat Stronger

  • We want to set a record for donations.  Response has been strong, but we need more help to reach the goal of $500,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital.   Our “donate” page is still active.
  • We have posted a new video from Seattle Children’s Hospital.  It’s a clear explanation of why we need to build the special Hybrid Room at the pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.  Take a look – and then donate.
