911 GT3 Cup (Type 997)
The 911 GT3 Cup 2005 is designed for customer racing with near-series vehicles in accordance with the Porsche Michelin Supercup rules for 2005. The vehicle is handed over to the customer in racing condition and will be used exclusively during the 2005 Porsche Michelin Supercup. The new GT3 Cup is a further step towards a pure-bred racing car.

The chassis has been thoroughly revised and now allows for a higher degree of precision and improved driving dynamics. For the first time, Porsche will be deploying the revolutionary Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) in the GT3 Cup 2005. Additionally, the vehicle has a sequential transmission with tractive power interruption, which allows upshifts at full throttle. Conclusion: the new 911 GT3 Cup is the most powerful vehicle in its history.
