Drivers' Quotes after the practice session:

The two Saleens performed flawlessly this practice session. All the drivers got comfortable right away. We have high hopes for their performance at the 24 hours of Daytona for Children's Hospital."
- Greg Fordahl Chief Engineer Parkplace Racing Fordahl Motorsports

"The past two days have been exactly what they needed to be from a driver development standpoint. The Saleen is beyond what I ever dreamed it would be…I would like to live in it!"
-Don Kitch Jr. Founder and driver Team Seattle

'I thought all of our new team members did a great job driving a difficult car on a technical track. The Saleen S7R is spectacular, I had the most fun I ever had driving a racecar! The power, brakes, and handling are all very well matched and no one of those three overshadows the other. Our teammates seems to be gelling, I think we have a closer group of guys than ever before. This car is designed for a track like Daytona fast speed, hard braking, and the car is really going to shine in this environment. I think Team Seattle has a very good chance of finishing well and raising a lot of money for Children's Hospital."
-Wade Gaughran Team Seattle driving veteran

"An amazing time to be with such a great group of people that love racing while at the same time excited to help Children's Hospital. The cars are world class as well as the team. It's a real privilege to be part of this effort."
-Don Valencia Team Seattle

"I think the test down here in California has been a great start to the 2002 race effort. The cars are fantastic, great fun to drive, and the crew is excellent! Can't wait to see how many laps we can complete for the kids."
-Dave Gaylord Team Seattle driving veteran

What a great testing session for Team Seattle. I've only been at these sessions to watch Chris before and now to be a real part of it is personally very fulfilling. A great group of guys are here from different racing backgrounds and for different reasons. Everyone was in awe of this powerful machine to begin with and we ended up loving it and hoping to utilize more than a fraction of it's amazing potential. We all can't wait for Daytona!!
-David Bingham Team Seattle driver and founding member

"I am really excited to be part of Team Seattle and their effort to help Children's Hospital. The Parkplace Racing Fordahl Motorsports group has put together a good package and I think we have a good effort for a strong showing."
-Peter MacLeod Team Seattle driver

"The Saleen is a fantastic car, what a blast to drive! Thanks to Greg and the crew for working hard to keep the car in top shape for us. Chris and the rest of the driving team helped me learn a lot about driving the S7R this weekend. I feel really good about the progress the team made this weekend in preparation for Daytona."
-Mike Solomon Team Seattle driver

" I think everyone has done a great job this weekend considering this tight track requiring a lot of shifting, the transitions are very tight and if you can drive fast at this track you can drive well at Daytona. It's a great track to practice at. I expected everyone to spin and test the limits of the car and this is the track to test the capabilities of the car. I wanted everyone to be comfortable so when we go to Daytona we can work on the set up and go well at Daytona."
-Chris Bingham 2001 GTS Champion and Team Seattle driving veteran
