We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of Team Seattle, an auto-racing group that supports cardiac care at Children's Hospital through its participation in the annual Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona sports car endurance race in Florida. The group has established the Team Seattle Endowment for Excellence in Cardiac Intensive Care, which promotes advances in the care of children with congenital heart defects, heart disease, and heart failure. Kami Renee Sutton and Elaina Miki Bosler are patients of Children's Heart Center and two young members of the team that have provided remarkable inspiration through out the years.

Don Kitch brings Kami to the podium for the dedication of the CICU in her name. Seventeen year old Kami has had over 20 surgeries at Children's Hospital and has been Team Seattle's inspiration from the beginning.

Supporters had opportunity to see an image of Kami's wall outside the doors to the CICU. Dr. Gordon Cohen, Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery took guests on a visual tour of the new CICU. Our 2 million commitment brings a world-class CICU to the west coast. First blush look at the collector's edition poster created by our graphic artist, Dave Conover Available early December. Dan Cathecart of Adventure Signs once again created Styrofoam models of the 2006 team cars.
